Jumpin' Junipers

you really should make a pair of those too, they're super cute!

Materials:

5mm hook, 4.5mm hook, worsted yarn, main color and contrast color, yarn needle

Make 2

Pattern:

with 5mm hook and main color leaving a 3 inch tail, chain 10.

Row 1: DC in 4th Ch from hook, DC in next 5 ch, 4 DC in the last ch, working in the opposite side of the chain DC to end. Ch 3, turn. (18)

Row 2: Sk first DC, DC in next 7 sts, 2 DC in next 2 sts, DC to end. Ch 3, turn. (20)

Row 3: Sk first DC, DC in next 8 sts, 2 DC in next 2 sts, DC to end. Ch 3, turn. (22)

Row 4: Sk first DC, DC across. Ch 3, turn. (22)

Row 5: Sk first DC, DC2tog, DC to last 3 sts, DC2tog, DC in last st [last st = ch 3 of prev row]. (20)

Row 6: Sk first DC, DC across. Ch 3, turn. (20)

Row 7-12: Rep Row 6. (this is where you can make the slipper sized to your foot, I did 3 rows for sz 7~8)

Row 13: DC in first st, 2 DC in next st, DC to last 2 sts, 2 DC in each rem sts. Ch 3, turn. (24)

Row 14-15: Rep Row 13. (32 sts after Row 15) after row 15 join to top of ch3

Row 16, dc around, join to top of ch3. (32)

Row 17 - ch3, dc in next 5 sts, dc2tog (2 times), dc in next 12 sts, dc 2tog (2 times), dc in next 6 sts, join (28)

Row 18 -ch3, dc in next 4 sts, dc2tog (2times) dc in next 10 sts, dc2tog (2times), dc in next 4 sts, join (24)

Row 19 - ch3, dc2tog (5 times), dc in next 2 sts, dc2tog (5 times), dc in last st, join (12)

Row 20 - ch2, dc2tog around with the last dc2tog ending in the same st as the ch2, join to the top of the first dc2tog. (6 sts)

fasten off yarn weave thru the loops of the last row, pull tight and tuck in ends.

switch to 4.5mm hook

with CC join at the row 15 row where you joined to work in the round , scdec in the first 2 sts, sc around opening (2sc for each row, 1 sc at the 2 heel rows), scdec in the last 2 sts.

join with slst, sc dec in next 2 sts, sc around to last to sts and sc dec again, join and fasten off

Please someone help me clear this up. Where it says rows 7-12... You say in parentheses, you only did 3 rows. Does that mean you only did rows 7, 8, & 9? Or did you do 3 more past row 12?
